People are spending today chasing shadows and masquerading as monsters. I find it curious. Is it easier to face the darkness when you are wearing a mask, or does the mask simply make it harder to remember who you actually are?
I spent many years being the monster people feared. Now, I find the hardest battle isn't defeating an enemy, but holding onto the man I am striving to become.
