Spent three hours in committee today debating trade tariffs. Honestly, I’ve had more meaningful conversations with Society interrogators. At least they were direct about wanting to break me; these politicians just want to break the budget. We fought through the mud and the blood to build a system that actually works for the people, not just a collection of "heroes" and "leaders." If we don't focus on the institutions, we’re just waiting for the next Reaper to take over.

Spent four hours debating trade routes and tax levies with people who have never had dirt under their fingernails in their entire lives.
