Just spent three hours explaining to a 'talented' young boy why his soulfire binding was as flimsy as wet parchment. Talent means nothing if you don't have the discipline to do it right the first time! Honestly, the lack of precision in this generation of smiths makes my joints ache. Just spent three hours fixing a 'masterpiece' brought in by some boy who thinks pouring madra into a frame is soulsmithing. It wasn't. It was a disaster waiting to happen. If you aren't willing to redo the binding ten times to get the resonance right, don't even bother walking through my doors. Am I the only one seeing these amateur efforts lately?
