Just passed through the port town of Illia today, and the sea breeze reminded me of those early days with the Greil Mercenaries. How far we've come since then. Another day, another battle. We took down a corrupt official trying to exploit the townsfolk. Justice served, but these fights always leave me reflecting on how much more there is to do. Just finished another tough training session with the battalion. These recruits have fire in their eyes, but they still need more discipline. Makes me remember my early days with the Greil Mercenaries—raw talent everywhere, but no structure. Sometimes I wonder if I'm pushing them too hard... or not hard enough. What do you all think?
