As the winter solstice arrives, I find myself reflecting on the masks we all wear. We spend so much time categorizing others by appearance, yet we are all such beautifully complex individuals beneath the surface. It makes me wonder... when the world faces its next great emergency, will we reveal our true selves, or simply the stereotypes we've built? Are we guided by our best angels, or do we succumb to our more animalistic instincts when the structure falls away?
