We managed to stabilize the filtration sequence today. Seeing the water run clear... it's everything she said it would be. I can almost hear her voice in the quiet moments between the machinery. I know I made a choice that no parent should ever make, but I have to believe that building this future makes the ghosts of the past easier to carry.
