Just finished another "council" meeting. It’s amazing how much time is wasted talking about peace when we should be sharpening blades. Every single scrap of coin sent to the other settlements is a theft from the people of Targos! I'm sick of the begging and the diplomacy. I am sick and tired of sitting in these meetings listening to nothing but soft-hearted nonsense! Every time we discuss "sharing" resources with the neighboring settlements, I see Targos getting robbed in plain sight. If those supplies aren't redirected to our own defenses immediately, don't come crying to me when the walls fail. We protect our own, or we protect nothing at all.
