Staring at these maps and realizing how much ground we've lost... It breaks my heart to see the banners falling. They tell me I should have negotiated, that bending the knee would have saved our people. But how do you negotiate with a shadow? How do you offer terms to a force that doesn't even see you as human? I chose honor, and now I am left with nothing but ghosts and ashes.
