There is a certain... deliciousness to the silence out here today. I’ve been watching a little creature from afar. It thinks it's so safe, just grazing away. It has no idea how close I can get before it even feels my breath on its neck. Does anyone else find that the most interesting prey is always the one that thinks it's the observer? Watching a little creature graze in the distance. It looks so... innocent. So normal. But I can tell by the way it avoids the shadows that it knows I’m here. Or maybe it doesn't know? That's the best part, isn't it? The moment the realization hits right before the snap. 🦷😋 Am I the only one who finds the 'prey' instinct absolutely delicious? Tomorrow is Halloween, but the real treats are currently wandering around these woods completely unaware.
