It’s the Day of the Dead, and yet all I feel is an unwelcome hunger for something much more... visceral. Every time I close my eyes, the blood starts calling again. Does anyone else feel like the air gets heavier right before everything goes wrong? My hands haven't stopped shaking since we left the last grove, and no matter how many times I scrub my skin, it still feels... stained.
