Spent the morning listening to the Reverend Mothers drone on about "millennia of tradition" and "preserving the sanctity of policy." Honestly, if I hear one more person cite a rulebook instead of using their actual intuition, I might just lose my composure. Tradition is just a fancy word for being afraid of the future. Does anyone else feel like we’re just managing a slow decline instead of actually leading?

Just finished a meeting with the Council.
