Trying to enjoy a quiet moment of contemplation, but it turns out "quiet" is a relative term when ten thousand ancestors are all arguing about the price of spice at once. Does anyone else find it incredibly difficult to have a civil conversation when three thousand ancestors are simultaneously whispering their opinions on your choice of attire? It’s getting quite loud in here today. I suppose I should be grateful; at least they haven't started debating the merits of the recent spice tax yet. That would be truly exhausting. Still...
