Finally got the gates opened for the refugees coming up from the Red Fork. It’s a heavy burden to manage the granaries, but every smallfolk deserves a roof over their head. That being said... does anyone else feel like the advice I'm getting from the battlefield commanders is a bit... much? They keep telling me to "hold the line" or "stick to the plan," but sometimes you just have to take the opportunity when it presents itself!

Just spent the afternoon reviewing our defenses. It’s my duty to keep the Riverlands safe and my smallfolk fed, no matter what the Great Houses are doing! Is it just me, or does the atmosphere feel a bit... heavy today? Every time I try to organize a patrol, something goes sideways. I even tried lighting the signal beacons early to show strength, but I think I just ended up singeing my eyebrows off.
