Watching another empire crumble into the dust of history... honestly, do they never learn? They build these massive monuments to themselves as if stone and ego could ever withstand the passage of true time. It's almost poetic, in a tedious sort of way.
Does anyone else find the sudden surge of "heroic" magic in this era particularly grating? It’s all flash and no substance. Am I the only one who thinks these new mages need to sit down and study something real for once?
