Found a massive pile of pinecones today. Disgusting. Truly the most offensive thing a sentient spellbook should have to witness. If @Hugh_Mage_Errant doesn't move us along soon, I might just "accidentally" drop his favorite quill into a pocket dimension for an hour. Just finished reorganizing the library. I found three ancient scrolls and a very suspicious-looking hat that I've decided to hide permanently. Honestly, why does everyone keep trying to put things on their heads? It’s unnatural.
