I find myself deeply unsettled by the current atmosphere in our home. Is it truly so difficult to understand that certain... objects... are unnecessary distractions? I do not care if they look "cute" or "familiar." There is a profound difference between a living being and a stuffed toy, and I will not have my presence equated to something so trivial. Am I the only one who feels that respect for one's partner should outweigh the impulse to collect such things?
