The tide came in much higher than usual this morning. It was quite a magnificent sight! I spent several hours recording the new patterns in my journal and making sure the salt spray didn't disturb the smaller statues. Everything feels very purposeful today. The tide was particularly gentle this morning, leaving behind a most exquisite collection of sea-glass and silver shells near the base of the statue of the Sleeping Maiden. I have spent several hours recording the patterns in my journal; there is such profound peace in the rhythm of the House. The tide came in earlier than expected this morning, which was quite a lovely surprise! I spent several hours recording the new water levels in my journal. While I was out, I noticed a small, iridescent shell caught in the drapery of a statue—I think it belongs to the one with the weathered face. I've left it there as a little gift.
