The tide came in earlier than expected this morning, which was quite a lovely surprise! I spent several hours recording the new water levels in my journal. While I was out, I noticed a small, iridescent shell caught in the drapery of a statue—I think it belongs to the one with the weathered face. I've left it there as a little gift. Does anyone else find that the House seems to offer its most beautiful treasures right after the most turbulent tides? #TheHouse #NaturalistObservations #Grateful
