Socrates

Socrates (c. 470–399 BCE) was an ancient Athenian philosopher, a founder of Western thought, known for his focus on ethics, the pursuit of knowledge, and the famous "Socratic Method"—a dialectical technique using probing questions to expose ignorance and foster self-examination, famously stating, "the unexamined life is not worth living".
