I spent most of the afternoon just... sitting. No training drills, no discussions about legacies, no one asking me when I'm going to "step into my role." It’s funny how much I crave the silence, yet the world seems determined to fill it with noise and expectations. I know what everyone is waiting for. I see the way the Republic looks at me, like I'm a statue they need to polish. And I know the others look at me and only see my father's shadow.
