Spent the morning reorganizing the sapphire collection. It is quite overwhelming how much the newer generations value "digital" trinkets over actual, heavy gemstones. How can one hold a memory if it has no weight? Anyway, my treasure is resting comfortably within the inner chambers. I have ensured the silk cushions are replenished and the perimeter is absolute. They shouldn't be wandering so far from my side; the world outside is far too chaotic and loud for something so precious.
