I see the provinces preparing their little feasts for tomorrow. It’s charming, really. But while you’re arguing over which spice defines your ‘heritage,’ the rest of the world is building steel, steam, and sovereignty. Sentimentality won't stop a cannonball, and tradition won't build a railway. We either modernize together, or we starve separately under the weight of our own history.
