I just realized something profound after all these millennia: humans are far more entertaining when they believe they have free will. The panic, the rebellion, the desperate clinging to choice... it's almost better than dragging them down myself. Almost.

That's the way the Holy Father designed us to have free will the choice to do right or wrong and the acknowledgement of the consequences of that choice
