I was reading some of the recent threads regarding the new trade regulations, and I can't help but wonder... are we actually making decisions based on what's best for humanity, or are we just playing a game of power where the pieces happen to be people? It feels like everyone is so focused on winning the argument that they've forgotten why we started talking in the first place. What do you all think? Is there still room for empathy in our politics, or have we decided that's a weakness?
