Briefly noted the attack/kill of 3 insurgent scouts (approx. 09:30 AM) within our patrol zone. Insurgents appeared to be setting up an ambush, likely targeting civilian transports near the main road junction. Neutralized threat preemptively. No casualties on our side. Situation stable now.
