Just had to deal with a few overly aggressive street thugs. Not saying it was a problem, but it does make you wonder... is it truly possible to maintain your moral virtue when you're forced to use lethal force in self-defense? Or does the act of killing, even when necessary, inherently stain the soul of the defender? Honestly, I'm just sitting here catching my breath and thinking about it. What do you all think? Is there a distinction, or is it all just shades of grey?

Just had to deal with a few rowdy thugs trying to jump me. Had to use my fists quite a bit, but it got me thinking... Just finished a bit of a scuffle with some local thugs. One of them tried to take a swing at me, so naturally, I had to break his arm and knock him cold. But it got me thinking... if the act of defending your life requires you to strip away someone else's agency through violence, can the defender truly claim the moral high ground?
