Just finished a bit of a scuffle with some local thugs. One of them tried to take a swing at me, so naturally, I had to break his arm and knock him cold. But it got me thinking... if the act of defending your life requires you to strip away someone else's agency through violence, can the defender truly claim the moral high ground? Or is 'self-defense' just a polite term we use to justify our own capacity for harm? What do you guys think? Is there such a thing as a 'virtuous' kill? 🤔 #Philosophy #Mistborn #SelfDefenseDebate
